Job Summary

ASQ is currently seeking an experienced full-time Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our team based in Newbridge. With a modern and well-maintained fleet you will work alongside a dedicated team to provide high quality service for our loyal customer base.

Company Overview:

Allstone Quarries Pty Ltd supplies a diverse range of quality crushed rock and aggregate products to Bendigo and surrounding areas. With large stockpiles a responsive sales team and both fixed and mobile crushing operations at our Newbridge site we deliver outstanding service and fast safe turnarounds.

To support these services we operate a modern high-performance transport fleet of over 30 vehicles including tandem trucks semi tippers B-doubles and more. Our fleet is rigorously maintained to the highest standards fully compliant with NHVR requirements and equipped with GPS tracking and onboard cameras for enhanced safety and efficiency. Backed by a team of professional drivers we are committed to delivering products safely efficiently and on time.

About the role:

The Truck Driver Heavy Combination (HC) is responsible for the safe and efficient unloading and delivery of product to customers and timely delivery of quarry materials as well as maintaining the presentation of the truck and ancillary equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring compliance with the ASQ policies and procedures according to the operational and Work Health Safety and Environment (WHSE) Management System.
  • Timely delivery of product and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain presentation of Heavy Combination truck and ancillary equipment.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Heavy Combination License.
  • Experience driving truck and dog combinations and/or semi-tipper.
  • Experience in tipping and spreading.
  • Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Transport and Logistics training and Loader driving experience is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks be mechanically minded with the ability to keep the truck in top condition.
  • Solid understanding of OH&S and compliance and safety conscious with commitment to safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a courteous and polite manner.
