We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Lead Demand and Inventory Manager (all genders) to join our team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Demand & Supply Planning:
- Collaborate with Purchasing Brand and Product teams to align on cross-functional priorities for demand planning.
- Generate consensus demand by analysing forecast data considering factors such as assortment changes promotional impacts and strategic growth plans.
- Manage purchasing and inventory predictions for short- to mid-term planning communicating plans to internal stakeholders.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by translating plans into replenishment actions and forecast adjustments.
Out-of-Stock (OOS) / Over-Stock (OV) Management:
- Analyse missed KPIs and provide transparency on root causes to all stakeholders.
- Implement corrective actions to address issues such as near out-of-stock situations and stock expiry.
- Lead supply chain integration projects with key suppliers.
- Identify structural problems and improvement opportunities initiating projects to enhance processes tools and methods.
Continuous Improvement:
- Take ownership of small-scale projects and contribute to larger projects as needed.
- Collaborate with internal tech teams to enhance system capabilities and automate key processes.
- Challenge the status quo and encourage creative thinking to optimise sourcing and replenishment strategies.
- Continuously improve reporting and governance routines around OOS/OV and unhealthy inventory.
- Stay informed on industry trends technological advancements and best practices in demand planning.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of significant experience gained in a project oriented and/or analytically focused role (e.g. consulting project management business analyst)
- University degree with a quantitative focus
- Advanced Excel user; experience with SQL Power BI is a big plus
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: A focus on translating data into actionable insights to drive informed decision-making
- Strong team player with effective communication skills across various seniorities and backgrounds as well as an ability to present complex ideas
- Fluency in English
