Operations and Management Planning (OMP) serves as the Agencys internal controls and standards team. OMPs Parks Inspection Program (PIP) establishes standards of care rates the condition of the park system and disseminates the results through a variety of tools reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities
-Under general supervision with latitude for independent initiative and judgment report to the Director of the Parks Inspection Program perform difficult and responsible analytic and administrative work for Operations and Management Planning (OMP).
-On a daily basis provide quality assurance for field inspections by reviewing inspection reports and photos for accuracy and adherence to standards communicating needed edits and providing other helpful feedback.
-Review and document additional inspections including Recreation Centers Golf Courses and the bi-annual Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machine assessment.
-Utilize MS Teams and SharePoint to create and maintain content for both the analytical and inspection teams.
-Act as the data steward for OMP ensuring consistency and quality of data.
-Work with other units divisions and field staff to improve the usefulness of OMP data and reports in desktop and mobile environments.
-Integrate disparate internal and external datasets using geospatial and statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
-Communicate complex analytical results to internal and external stakeholders including both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Coach other data users on the usage of new data sources tools and analytical methods.
-Perform special projects as required.

Qualifications :
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 or 2 above. However all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in 1 above.
