Job Summary

This is a critical safety-sensitive position responsible for the direct supervision coordination and execution of daily equipment delivery and recovery operations. The Supervisor ensures the Pick Up Crew operates safely efficiently and in compliance with all company and industry standards.

  • Supervision & Leadership: Lead train mentor and supervise a team of Pick Up Crew Members. Distribute daily assignments and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

  • Operations Management: Directly oversee the delivery and recovery of a variety of equipment tools and supplies to and from customer worksites. Ensure accurate and timely execution of all routes.

  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company safety policies ATSSA guidelines and defensive driving practices. Conduct regular site inspections and safety briefings.

  • Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the crew the Dispatch/Operations team and when necessary the customers. Report operational issues delays or incidents immediately.

  • Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of all crew vehicles (flatbeds/trucks) and equipment. Oversee and execute minor equipment and vehicle repairs/troubleshooting in the field.

  • Performance & Documentation: Track crew performance manage timecards complete daily logs incident reports and maintain accurate inventory records of recovered equipment.


Qualifications :

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Traffic Control Logistics Delivery/Recovery operations or a related field. Previous supervisory or lead role experience is strongly preferred.

  • Certification: Current ATSSA Traffic Control Technician (TCT) or higher certification is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Proven ability to lead a team excellent time management organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities. Must be a self-starter who is motivated and can effectively troubleshoot problems in the field.

  • Driving: Must possess a valid Drivers License and maintain a clean driving record. Experience operating flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles is a plus.

  • Work Environment: Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions in urban suburban and rural settings.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift carry and handle traffic control equipment (cones barricades signs) throughout the day.
