Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Catering Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai India. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for driving catering sales managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of events.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize catering revenue and meet organizational goals
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing tailored catering solutions
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu offerings
  • Conduct site visits and consultations with potential clients to showcase our venues and services
  • Prepare detailed event proposals contracts and budgets for clients
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and motivate the catering sales team setting performance targets and providing ongoing support
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of all aspects of catering events from inception to completion
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and organizational standards
  • Resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote our catering services

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in catering sales management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency in catering management software and MS Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of catering operations food and beverage trends and event planning
  • Experience in budgeting forecasting and financial management
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field preferred
