We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Catering Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai India. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for driving catering sales managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize catering revenue and meet organizational goals
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing tailored catering solutions
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu offerings
- Conduct site visits and consultations with potential clients to showcase our venues and services
- Prepare detailed event proposals contracts and budgets for clients
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction
- Manage and motivate the catering sales team setting performance targets and providing ongoing support
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Oversee the planning and coordination of all aspects of catering events from inception to completion
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and organizational standards
- Resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote our catering services
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in catering sales management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in catering management software and MS Office suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- In-depth knowledge of catering operations food and beverage trends and event planning
- Experience in budgeting forecasting and financial management
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field preferred
