Position: Caregiver - 1634R

Starting Wage: $23.00/hour

Schedule:Mondays and Wednesdays: 2:45pm-6:45pm & Sundays: 10:00am-5:00pm

Location: Beaverton OR 97006

Client Bio:

I really enjoy music and love playing the piano. I like cars and can talk about them for a long time-theyre one of my favorite topics. I also like being outside spending time playing games and especially enjoy board games like Monopoly.

Sometimes its hard for me to manage my emotions. When I feel overwhelmed or frustrated I might bite myself or show aggression and I can sometimes damage things or try to leave the area when upset. Its important for people supporting me to stay calm and help me stay safe.

Im working on learning how to label my emotions with words so I can express how I feel in a better way. I do best with caregivers who are patient experienced and confident in supporting behaviors while also encouraging me through positive and consistent communication.

Who Were Looking For

18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
Own a smartphone
Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
Drivers license and insurance for some roles

What Youll Do

Supporting Daily Living - From helping with meals bathing or getting ready for the day youll provide care that helps members feel confident and comfortable.
Encouraging Independence - Join members on walks shopping trips or community outings helping them connect with the world around them.
Building Life Skills - Teach and model everyday skills like cooking managing money and understanding social cues - empowering members to grow and thrive.
Keeping Things on Track - Follow care plans offer medication reminders and document progress so our team can celebrate every milestone together.
