Production Line Leader Patio - 1st shift
Compensation based on skills and experience.
Job Summary: Working leader of the Patio production line. Responsible for leading a group of individuals through patio door production. Engaging the team members assigning tasks giving directions providing knowledge and advice and making sure workers comply with standards.

Responsibilities
- Assign production associates with line tasks.
- Setting up the production line accordingly.
- Operates various machines and fills in where needed to ensure production goals for the department
- Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity quality and safety.
- Production targets being met without compromising on quality or safety.
- Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
- Training and supervising new production line workers.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
- Maintaining a fully operational safe and tidy work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Perform duties in a manner that ensures Vinylmax will continue to operate in a clean safe and efficient manner.
- Performing recordkeeping tasks as needed.
- Coaching and develop their team where needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the production manager.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
- A minimum of three years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment overseeing a team of 5-15 associates.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations written communication and reading comprehension as these are essential for the successful completion of required paperwork and projects.
- Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
- 1st shift schedule is 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) Friday OT as needed.
- Schedule includes one 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks
