Job Summary
Job Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician
Location: Hyannis MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Schedule: 3 shifts/week Every other weekend Every other holiday
Position Overview
A reputable healthcare facility in Hyannis MA is seeking an experienced Cardiology Diagnostic Tech for a 13-week night-shift assignment. The technician will perform diagnostic cardiac procedures and support the cardiology department in delivering high-quality patient care during overnight operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of cardiac diagnostic procedures as assigned.
Monitor and record cardiac data accurately and efficiently.
Assist physicians and nursing staff with diagnostic testing needs.
Maintain and calibrate cardiac monitoring equipment.
Ensure proper patient preparation and education for procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
Adhere to safety quality and infection control standards.
Work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled.
Requirements
Minimum 12 years of cardiology diagnostic experience (preferred recent experience).
Proficiency with cardiac diagnostic equipment and testing procedures.
Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and monitoring protocols.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Flexibility to work alternating weekends and holidays.
Certification or licensure as required by state regulations (if applicable).
