Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 13 years of experience in basic IT support or customer-facing technical roles
- Knowledge of common computer issues and the ability to provide simple troubleshooting
- General understanding of internet and network basics
- Experience setting up and taking care of computers printers and other office or school equipment
- Ability to assist with user accounts passwords and basic system tasks
- Familiarity with using a helpdesk or ticketing system
- Good communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving computers software peripherals and other IT technologies
- Provide prompt helpdesk support to students faculty and staff; log prioritize and track support tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining network connectivity Wi-Fi performance and basic network configurations
- Support user account setup password resets system access requests and routine system maintenance tasks
- Set up install and maintain computers printers projectors and other IT equipment; perform routine checks to ensure functionality
- Provide on-site IT assistance during school activities programs and events including AV setup and live support
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents resolutions asset inventories and recurring issues; prepare basic reports as needed.
- Assist the IT team in maintaining servers storage network equipment and other core infrastructure components.
