To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver ahigh qualityOccupational Therapy service to childadolescentsand their families in CAMHS. Contributing to wider service developments and inter-agency working to meet the needs of the service user group and theobjectivesof the organisation.
Essential Criteria
Statutory Registration Professional Qualifications Experience etc.
Candidates for appointment must:
- Be registered or be eligible for registration on the Occupational Therapists Registermaintainedby the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.()
AND
- Have three years full time (or anaggregrateof three years) post qualification clinical experience.
AND
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
AND
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Registermaintainedby the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORUbefore a contract of employment can be issued.
Annual registration
- On appointment practitioners mustmaintainannual registration on the Occupational Therapists Registermaintainedby the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
- Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as wouldindicatea reasonable prospect of ability torenderregular and efficient service.
Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
