About the role:
- Lead the Commercial and Advisory Law Reform team.
- Research complex legal/policy issues and prepare submissions.
- Attend stakeholder meetings and represent the Law Societys position.
- Lead and support a group of policy committees (e.g. Property Privacy Employment Litigation Business Environment and Planning) including agendas papers reports and liaison with practitioners and staff.
The ideal candidate:
- Strong experience in legal policy law reform or related advisory work.
- Proven people management experience and ability to lead a small team.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skill.
- Strong research drafting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and drive outcomes.
