Job Summary
Ballad Health Medical Associates Outpatient Services is currently seeking a Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner to work Full Time in our Johnson City Tennessee location. The Nurse Practitioner will cover a range of patient cases including consults with new patients managing medications and providing counseling service to community patients as well as Ballad Health team members and their covered Nurse Practitioner will be expected to work with patients ages five and up including adults on a set schedule. This opportunity offers a competitive annual salary with full benefits Opportunity Details:Practice includes a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists advanced practice providers and masters level hospitals and mental health facilities nearbyCollaboration with on-site Board Certified PsychiatristSchedule: 12-hour shifts; 7 am to 7 pm during weekdaysNo CallNo WeekendsQualifications:Masters degree in as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by a national certifying agency (i.e. ANCC).Maintains certification through required continuing education and hours of practice according to the requirements of certifying or ability to immediately obtain an APRN license in the state of DEA license to prescribe controlled substances as per department protocols.
