Job Summary
Were looking for a reliable and hands-on Facilities Technician to support the daily maintenance and operations of a unique commercial facility located within a cave environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety problem-solving and working with their hands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine and emergency maintenance tasks including basic carpentry drywall repair and general building fixes.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain clean safe and functional facility spaces at all times.
- Support equipment moves setups and other physical tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors or service providers when required.
- Perform lighting repairs outlet and switch replacements and low-voltage work.
- Install or repair fixtures signage shelving and minor equipment.
- Document maintenance activities materials used and follow-up needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Experience in general maintenance handyman or facility support roles.
- Skilled with hand tools; basic electrical or plumbing knowledge required.
- Comfortable working in enclosed or damp environments.
- Able to lift climb crawl and work in tight or uneven areas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
