About the Role
You will be working in a fast-paced organization that promotes cross-functional collaboration to contribute directly to the growth of our employee business.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
Agency activation & business development - double our active agency base by 2026
Develop a deep understanding of agent needs and feedback to inform product and service improvements.
Identify and activate inactive agency districts through high-impact roadshows morning meetings and training sessions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agency leaders and Star Producers to drive engagement.
Conduct market analysis to identify gaps in our current agency penetration and develop attack plans for key districts.
Develop and implement incentive campaigns and sales strategies to achieve the goal of 100 active quoting agents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our value proposition is effectively communicated to the agency force.
VIP deal structuring & execution
Partner exclusively with top-tier agents to co-pitch complex or large-scale Group Medical & Life opportunities.
Act as the technical subject matter expert in client meetings bridging the gap between the agent and the solution.
Develop competitive analysis and how to win scripts to empower agents against market competitors.
Digital adoption & transformation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline the sales process and remove friction for agents.
Drive the adoption of digital submission tools among agents to replace manual paper processes.
Educate agents on self-service platforms to increase speed-to-market and operational efficiency.
Monitor digital usage rates and implement strategies to convert analog agents to digital users.
The success of this role will be measured by:
Number of active quoting agents
Annual New Business Sales Revenue (ARR) from the agency channel
Adoption rate of digital submission tools
About you
To succeed in this role you are:
A Hunter with a self-motivated results-driven mindset.
An energetic public speaker who can command a room of 50 agents.
Tech-savvy and adaptable to new digital tools.
Always do things with good intentions and have strong Integrity.
And the following qualifications are essential
At least 5 years of experience in Employee Benefits (Group Medical/Life) sales or Agency Management.
Strong track record of activating sales channels and hitting aggressive targets.
Excellent communication presentation and training skills (English & Cantonese).
Ability to work independently and proactively visit districts without waiting for instructions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the next Star Producers.
Knowledge of the insurance regulatory environment and agency dynamics is an asset.
