Job Summary
An Outstanding selective school in South Manchester is looking for an English Teacher with a passion for oracy and creative literacy to start in January 2026.
- English Teacher required from January 2026.
- Manchester (Altrincham Area) Outstanding Grammar School.
- Seeking a specialist to deliver a rigorous English curriculum with emphasis on high-level writing public speaking and literary analysis.
You will teach English from KS3KS5 contribute to academic competitions support Oxbridge pathways and help lead creative writing or debating enrichment.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS desirable; extensive English teaching experience essential.
- Degree in English or related discipline.
- Strong ability to stretch high-ability learners.
- Experience supporting GCSE and A-Level exam preparation.
