Job Summary
A well-regarded secondary school in Trafford is seeking an English ECT from September 2026.
- English ECT required from September 2026.
- Manchester (Urmston Area) Mainstream Secondary School.
- Seeking a teacher with strong knowledge of literature oracy and creative writing.
You will teach English across KS3KS4 contributing to whole-school literacy reading programmes and creative writing enrichment. The role requires adaptability creativity and strong classroom presence.
Experience & Qualifications
- QTS (or pending) essential.
- Degree in English Literature English Language or related field.
- Experience planning engaging lessons suited to diverse learners.
- Interest in literacy projects and reading initiatives.
