A large inclusive secondary school in south Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of English to join its highly supportive department from January 2026.

The Role
You will teach English across KS3 and KS4 working within a clearly sequenced curriculum that balances high expectations with accessibility. Shared schemes of work common assessments and carefully planned resources allow ECTs to focus on refining delivery rather than creating everything from scratch.
You will be supported to:
Deliver engaging lessons in Literature and Language
Develop strong behaviour management routines using consistent whole-school systems
Build confidence in assessment feedback and planning
Observe experienced colleagues and reflect on best practice
