About the Role
The Music Technician will support teachers and students by managing equipment maintaining instruments organising sound and lighting for performances and ensuring the smooth running of rehearsals concerts and practical lessons.
The role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in audio music technology or instrument maintenance. Experience with recording software mixing desks or live sound engineering is highly desirable.
Responsibilities Include:
Setting up and maintaining musical instruments and audio equipment
Supporting live performances concerts and school productions
Managing music technology resources including software and hardware
Maintaining practice rooms and rehearsal spaces
Assisting with classroom resources and practical lessons
Monitoring stock and organising repairs
Experience and Qualifications
Background in Music Technology or related field
Experience with live sound recording or technical support
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work calmly and effectively in fast-paced settings
Passion for music and performance education
