This unit ensures the regulatory compliance in all institutional acts especially in biomedical research projects and IP Among the goals of this Units are: to ensure the regulatory compliance in all institutional acts especially in IP and biomedical research projects; give advice to the scientific community at VHIR of the continuous legal developments that affect biomedical research and therefore the transfer of results to society; and to the different services and units at VHIR.

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 1 year as a lawyer with experience in data protection.
- Fluent in Catalan Spanish and English both written and oral.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with vocation of service and customer orientation.
Desired:
- Specific knowledge in pharmaceutical and healthcare law and/or previous experience in the field of biomedical research will be positively valued.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Participate in the process of drafting negotiation and reviewing data protection clauses and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Give support and advice to Researchers in the application of current data protection regulations.
Labour conditions:

- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
