At Buena were building software that will redefine how property management works - in Germany and beyond. Our roadmap is huge and this role sits at the center of it.

Depth. Were expanding from accounting into AI-powered workflows ticketing communication and owner management - rebuilding core processes from the ground up.
Breadth. Property management touches many verticals. New product areas (brokerage banking maintenance insurance) offer greenfield opportunities where you can take the lead.
Global. Germany is only the starting point. Once we dominate this market we plan to expand across Europe - and ultimately enter the US with a category-defining product.

What were looking for

2 years experience building and shipping production-ready web applications
Strong skills in TypeScript React and (or comparable modern JS stacks)
Ability to own features end-to-end - from idea to implementation to production
Solid understanding of modern web architecture (APIs state management data flows)
High ownership and autonomy - you can make decisions and ship without hand-holding

What youll do

Build and ship features end-to-end - from database to frontend.
Own parts of the product and make architectural decisions that matter.
Improve performance and reliability across our core systems.
Work directly with product & design to turn real workflows into simple software.
Shape our engineering culture as we grow (coding standards tools best practices)

Technical Interview - A deep dive into your experience past projects and engineering approach with Magid our Engineering Manager.
Case Study - After a successful technical interview youll receive a short take-home case to showcase your problem-solving engineering thinking and communication.
Paid Work Trial (1 day to 1 week) - If the case study is successful youll join us for a scoped real-life problem to see how we work together. All work trial days are fully compensated.
Founder Conversation - Align on values expectations and what success looks like in this role with our CEO Din and COO Jan.
Offer & Contract - We make things official.
Onboarding - Get set up meet the team and start building meaningful things with us.
