Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Automation QE (6 12 years) to join our QA engineering team for a large-scale enterprise Pega implementation. The selected resource will be responsible for designing and developing automated test frameworks executing functional and regression test suites validating end-to-end workflows and ensuring delivery of high-quality Pega applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation test scripts and frameworks for Pega applications.
- Perform functional regression smoke and integration testing across multiple Pega modules.
- Work closely with developers architects business analysts and product owners to understand requirements acceptance criteria and test scope.
- Conduct UI workflow data validation and rules testing within Pega PRPC.
- Create and maintain reusable automated test suites to support continuous integration and continuous testing.
- Validate REST/SOAP API integrations between Pega and external systems.
- Identify triage and track defects using enterprise defect management tools.
- Support performance and security testing preparation and execution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups backlog grooming and retrospectives.
- Prepare detailed test reports and metrics for leadership and project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 12 years of overall IT experience including 5 years as a QE/QA focused on Pega platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Pega testing and automation using Pega Test Framework (PTF) or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Pega PRPC architecture workflows UI data pages decision rules case management and rule resolution.
- Experience validating Pega application components such as flows assignments SLAs correspondence decision logic and reports.
- Strong automation experience using:
- Pega Unit
- Pega Test Suite / Pega Scenario Testing
- Selenium / Java / Cucumber / Karate or equivalent automation frameworks
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins Bitbucket Bamboo or Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP API validations JSON/XML and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pega CSA / CSSA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience in performance testing security testing and cross-browser / responsive testing.
