Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager
Location: Onsite-Memphis TN
Pay Rate: $110 - $120k 10% annual bonus
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Manager who can own the end-to-end planning process. This includes demand forecasting supply planning inventory management and logistics coordination. The right person will bring strategic thinking strong leadership instincts and a steady hand in fast-moving environments. This role requires someone who can rally a team set clear direction and delegate with confidence.
You will lead a distributed team of seven planners located in Memphis remote locations Canada and the SIOP function in Michigan. Your job is to create alignment across regions support accurate forecasting and keep product flowing without unnecessary cost or disruption.
Demand Planning-
Partner with the Business Unit SIOP leader to support accurate demand forecasts
Compare forecast versus actual demand and adjust plans to maintain customer service targets Supply Planning
Build and maintain rolling twelve-month supplier forecasts
Oversee external and internal suppliers for timely delivery and capacity alignment
Manage material master data inside the ERP system and maintain precise MRP parameters
Direct the planning team on purchase order execution with a focus on customer coverage and healthy inventory levels
Track supplier past due fill rates and escalate bottlenecks when needed
Ensure product availability for new releases
Evaluate freight options for best cost and delivery balance
Work with suppliers and traffic to maintain stable schedules
Provide supply planning insights for budget cycles and forecast updates
Inventory Management-
Use ABC and XYZ analysis to maintain optimal inventory value and support budget targets
Set and maintain safety stock parameters aligned to service goals
Review excess and obsolete inventory and drive cross-functional action plans
Performance Management-
Own and improve supply chain KPIs tied to global and regional goals
Report KPI performance to leadership and recommend improvements
Create consistent planning techniques across the team
Set expectations communicate clearly and hold the team accountable
Balance autonomy with direction based on individual strengths and needs
Required Experience:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations Business or related field
Professional certifications such as CPIM APICS CPF or Lean Six Sigma are preferred
Five or more years of demand and supply planning experience. Automotive aftermarket experience is a strong advantage
Strong S&OP background and experience with global supply chains
Technical Skills:
ERP experience (SAP Oracle or CMS)
MM and PP key user knowledge
Intermediate to advanced Excel (lookups pivots data analysis)
SQL and AS400 query experience
Proficiency in Word Excel and PowerPoint
