Job Summary

DevOps Engineer

Berkeley Heights NJ

Contract

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in either Berkeley Heights NJ. The ideal candidate will design implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code Kafka for event streaming platforms and practical knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS Azure or GCP).

Responsibilities:

Build automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform

Configure deploy and maintain Kafka clusters and related streaming components

Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software releases

Manage containerized workloads using Docker and/or Kubernetes

Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions to ensure high availability

Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to improve deployment processes

Ensure security scalability and resilience across all environments

Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production and non-production environments

Qualifications:

3 years of DevOps or cloud engineering experience

Strong expertise in Terraform and Kafka

Experience with AWS Azure or GCP

Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI etc.)

Experience with Linux scripting (Python Bash) and containerization

Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
