Overview:
A pediatric skilled nursing facility seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide individualized care for medically fragile children in a supportive home-like environment without billing pressures.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat children with mobility neuromuscular and gross motor disorders
Manage and recommend specialized rehabilitation equipment (wheelchairs gait trainers orthoses)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team families and vendors for optimal patient outcomes
Educate caregivers and supervise PTAs/therapy aides
Complete documentation to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Master s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Active (or eligible) Delaware PT license
Minimum 1-year pediatric experience preferred; experience with medically fragile care highly valued
