Job Summary
Local Health Care Aide (HCA)
Location: Approximately 20 minutes from Okotoks (south of Calgary)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM 5 PM
Service Type: Home Care
Position Highlights:
Work in a home-care environment supporting clients in their community.
Some homes may have dogs present so comfort around pets is important.
You may be working with First Nation community members; cultural sensitivity and respect are essential.
Homes may occasionally involve environments with potential substance use; awareness and personal safety practices are required.
Full orientation and training provided before starting.
Per diem compensation provided.
Mileage reimbursement: $0.49 per km.
Requirements:
Certified Health Care Aide (HCA)
Reliable transportation
Professionalism compassion and comfort working in diverse home settings

- Valid Alberta HCA Directory
- Valid CPR certification
- Vulnerable sector check (within 6 months of application date)
- WHMIS certification (can be completed online)
- Mask fit test
