Job Title: Wormtown PM Dishwasher

JOB DESCRIPTION & EXPECTATIONS
Wormtown Brewerys newly revamped Shrewsbury Street taproom is reopening soon and were building a hardworking reliable positive kitchen team to support the fresh energy coming into the space. Were looking for PM Dishwashers who bring a great attitude take pride in behind-the-scenes work and help keep our kitchen moving smoothly.

As a PM Dishwasher youll play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness supporting the kitchen line and ensuring the taproom operates efficiently during peak hours. This position includes light prep cook duties such as portioning washing produce and basic food preparation to support the culinary team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prep Work & Ingredient Management
  • Wash chop portion label and store ingredients in accordance with recipes.
  • Assist in preparing sauces dressings batters and other foundational items.
  • Follow food safety procedures for storage labeling and rotation (FIFO).
  • Maintain prep lists and communicate completion status with the Chef/Kitchen Manager
Kitchen Operations
  • Arrive for a shift on time and in uniform.
  • Keep prep areas clean stocked and organized.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Support line cooks during peak hours by restocking or preparing needed items.
  • Step in to assist dishwashers during rushes or when coverage is needed.
  • Wash prep tools cutting boards and equipment throughout the shift.
Cleanliness & Organization
  • Maintain sanitation standards throughout all prep areas.
  • Assist with deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Help with end-of-shift breakdown and storage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience required we will train!
  • Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused during high-volume shifts.
  • Positive attitude reliability and willingness to jump in where needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in hot fast-paced environments.
  • Night weekend and holiday availability required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the taproom.

In a Somerville MA apartment in 2007 when 3 friends began homebrewing beer for friends and family. Their hobby took place after work often stretching late into the night - what they called their night shift. Wormtown Brewery started in 2010 on Park Ave in Worcester MA transforming an old ice cream shop into a small brewery. From the beginning the focus was on crafting great beer while staying true to its hometown roots. With strong support from the local community new recipes were created and refined.

Then came Be Hoppya bold West Coast IPA released at the height of the Hazy New England IPA craze. It stood out from the pack and quickly became a fan favorite.
