• Ensure excellent customer service to provide an outstanding guest experience at all times.
• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage menu items including new releases and seasonal offerings to make informed recommendations.
• Assist customers by taking and accurately processing food and beverage orders including special attention to allergies restrictions and dietary preferences.
• Answer and assist customers with questions reservations and general inquiries.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and handle credit card transactions efficiently.
• Check patrons identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.

• Assist in fulfilling beverage orders through the service bar ensuring proper pour glassware and sizing.
• Deliver complete and accurate orders to tables or the take-out counter promptly.
• Change kegs as necessary.
• Complete orders with retail beer and merchandise to go.

• Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work environment especially in high-contact areas.
• Sanitize high-touch point areas regularly.
• Check and maintain bathroom cleanliness.
• Follow inventory procedures to keep the front of house appropriately stocked.
• Assist with general Beer Hall/Kitchen organization and cleanliness.
• Ensure the taproom is well-stocked and organized.

• Work closely with counter service and runners to ensure the accuracy of food and beverage orders.
• Communicate effectively with the manager on expo.
• Assist other front-of-house operators as needed.
• Support the taproom team in maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down events.
• Perform additional duties or responsibilities as needed to support the taproom and ensure a great guest experience.
• Assist Taproom Manager with any additional duties responsibilities and/or administrative tasks.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of prior serving or hospitality experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Takes pride in punctuality professionalism and teamwork.
• Strong team player with a willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Available for days nights and weekend shifts of 5 hours or more; Saturday and/or Sunday availability required.
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortably bend reach and twist.
• Willingness to continuously learn about our beer offerings and the craft beer industry (previous craft beer knowledge a plus!)
• Knowledge of Toast POS or Grubhub (placing/receiving orders) is a plus.
• TIPs certification required (or ability to obtain).

Night Shift

In a Somerville MA apartment in 2007 when 3 friends began homebrewing beer for friends and family. Their hobby took place after work often stretching late into the night - what they called their night shift. Driven by a passion to craft more interesting and flavorful beers than the commercial options available they turned that hobby into something 2012 Night Shift Brewing officially launched in a small Everett warehouse setting the foundation for what would become a thriving independent brewery.

Today Night Shift Brewing continues to grow fueled by the same commitment to creativity quality and community. With a dedicated team of hardworking staff the company operates a taproom and brewery in Everett a restaurant and brewery at Lovejoy Wharf in Boston and a handful of seasonal Owls Nest beer gardens. Wormtown Brewery started in 2010 on Park Ave in Worcester MA transforming an old ice cream shop into a small brewery. From the beginning the focus was on crafting great beer while staying true to its hometown roots. With strong support from the local community new recipes were created and refined.

Then came Be Hoppya bold West Coast IPA released at the height of the Hazy New England IPA craze. It stood out from the pack and quickly became a fan favorite.

As word spread so did the brewery. What started as a small Worcester operation grew into two taprooms and a brand recognized across New England. But no matter how far the beer travels the mission remains the same: to craft high-quality beer that brings people together with a smile one pint at a time.
