Job Summary
At Jones Family Of Dealerships we are looking for a dedicated Automotive Service & Parts Director to join our team in Lancaster Pennsylvania. The importance of this role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service & part departments leading and training staff and implementing procedures that will enhance profitability productivity and deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department ensuring optimal workflow and operational efficiency.
- Lead train and mentor a team of service advisors technicians parts counter and support personnel.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring quality repairs and timely service delivery.
- Monitor service department performance metrics identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and implement procedures that enhance productivity profitability and customer retention rates.
- Address customer concerns and provide effective solutions to complex service-related issues.
- Collaborate closely with sales parts and other departments to facilitate seamless operational integration.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in automotive service management role preferably within a dealership context.
- Strong leadership capabilities with proficiency in managing motivating and developing personnel.
- Exceptional communication abilities encompassing both written and verbal forms.
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive repair processes parts and industry standards.
- Strong organizational competencies alongside meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-velocity environment while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
- Customer-oriented with a solutions-driven approach.
