Job Summary:
As a Trade Lifecycle Senior Associate you will be the first point of contact for clients on operational issues supporting trading activities across Single Stocks Program Trading and Electronic Client Solutions. You will manage trade support perform reconciliations ensure data accuracy and maintain stringent controls. Your role will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders resolving issues and participating in process improvement initiatives.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients on operational issues including allocation pre-match settlement and post-settlement events and act as the main contact for front office trading and sales queries.
- Support Asia-based clients trading in global markets.
- Perform reconciliations between front middle and back office systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all transactions are correctly captured in booking risk management and downstream systems; escalate urgent issues as needed.
- Conduct root cause analyses on new issues or control gaps implement solutions and collaborate with the trade support team to identify and resolve exceptions.
- Work closely with clients settlements and third-party institutions to settle trades.
- Produce time-sensitive reports and actionable data for break resolution and business control metrics.
- Liaise with client onboarding and reference data teams to set up accounts internally.
- Ensure compliance with rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions.
- Participate in projects involving new product rollouts system implementations process improvements and assist with strategic and efficiency projects as required.
- Take ownership of work clarify issues and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 3 years of experience in trade support with at least two years in cash equity or derivatives trade support.
- Knowledge of equities bonds and equity swap products and relevant process flows.
- In-depth experience with equity products and global markets including rules and regulations.
- Understanding of key elements of infrastructure groups (finance market risk credit risk operational risk legal collateral) and the impact of trade support actions.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required with experience in roles requiring daily communication with front office sales and marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership.
- Effective team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong problem-solving control and project management skills.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with derivatives regulatory requirements (e.g. Dodd Frank EMIR) is a plus.
- Advanced technical skills especially in Excel (VBA is a plus).
