Senior Associate Construction - Brisbane

About the role

Our market leading Construction practice is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Brisbane team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collegiate and high performing team advising on some of the countrys most exciting projects. You will work closely with our Partner Shannon Etwell. The team provides comprehensive advice on front-end project work covering risk analysis project structuring delivery systems contract preparation and negotiation. We are a close-knit team with a market-leading presence in Brisbane and around Australia. This role involves advising on a diverse range of major transactions for some of Australias pre-eminent energy resources and infrastructure companies. The team is advising on some of the most significant major projects in Queensland and nationally including the Gabba Arena Project Queens Wharf Cross River Rail Gold Coast Athletes Village Western Renewables Link as well as a variety of solar wind BESS and gas power projects.

You will have

  • front-end construction expertise across a wide range of sectors and enjoy working as part of a committed team
  • first rate experience of drafting complex construction and project documents

  • excellent analytical communication and research skills
  • strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients and other areas of the firm
