Description

In this role you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in critical care settings. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional treatment and support to patients in need. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations in critical care settings
  • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patients progress and respond to changes in their condition
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention
  • Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in critical care or a similar healthcare environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and best practices
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications preferred

Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts

No call

Patient Census: 16-20 per day

24-bed ICU

Required Procedures: Intubations central lines and arterial lines

Support Staff: Critical care physician in-house or on call

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
