Contract: Fixed term contract until July 2026 full-time hours 52 weeks a year based on-site but flexible working considered

Aston Education is working with a large Ofsted Good secondary school in Bromley looking for an HR Advisor.

As an HR Advisor youll provide generalist HR support to the Headteacher and the senior leadership team.

You will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment onboarding pre-employment checks payroll administration as well as maintaining and updating the schools Single Central Record and HR systems.

Youll provide advice on the schools HR policies and procedures draft contracts and letters and advise on disciplinaries grievances and absence.

Youll have:

CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) or relevant Degree
Experience of providing generalist HR advice and support on HR policies/procedures preferably in a school
Experience of advising senior managers on employment law issues including disciplinary absence management grievances and capability procedures
Experience of recruitment onboarding pre-employment checks as well as updating a schools Single Central Record
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
A strong understanding of equality of opportunity and diversity of issues
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
