Job Summary

Are you an HR professional who enjoys variety getting stuck in and making a real difference to managers and employees If youre looking for a hands-on HR Advisor role where no two days are the same this could be the opportunity for you.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner youll play a key role in delivering practical people-focused HR support across the business. This is a true generalist role combining employee relations coaching managers supporting change and contributing to wider HR initiatives. Youll build strong relationships understand what the business needs and help turn people plans into reality.

Youll be a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees offering clear pragmatic advice aligned to our HR service delivery model. A large part of the role involves employee relations coaching managers through conduct performance and absence matters supporting hearings preparing documentation and knowing when to escalate more complex issues. Youll also work closely with our wider HR teams to ensure a joined-up high-quality HR service.

Beyond day-to-day support youll contribute to HR projects policy development engagement and inclusion activity onboarding and communications. Youll also support international and satellite engineering sites so keeping up to date with employment legislation and best practice will be key.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum requirement of three days per week on-site. There will also be some travel to other Aston Martin locations so a full UK driving licence is essential. Flexibility around working hours is important as you may need to support the team events or different locations from time to time.

What were looking for

  • Previous experience at HR Advisor level (or similar) with confidence handling a range of topics including manager and employee facing scenarios.
  • A solid understanding of the employee lifecycle and employment legislation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
  • A practical proactive and organised approach with great attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Confidence using MS Office and HR systems
  • CIPD Level 3 /5 (or working towards) would be an advantage
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or operational environment is beneficial but not essential
