POSITION SUMMARY
Watkins believes work should matter. We protect people support businesses and create space for our team to do their best work. We are hiring an Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines department and help us deliver the client experience we are known for.
In this role you will manage a book of business advise clients on coverage and partner with team members and carriers to protect what matters most to our clients.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Own the relationship: Primary contact for your commercial accounts.
- Advise with confidence: Spot exposures fix coverage gaps guide renewal strategy.
- Drive renewals: Lead remarketing and negotiate with carriers for the best terms.
- Work in sync: Partner with Producers and underwriters to win and retain business.
- Stay sharp: Ensure compliance and stay current on trends across Commercial Insurance.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Active P&C License
- 5 years Commercial Lines AM experience (agency setting)
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Property; Generalist skillset
- Solid communication organization and follow-through
Preferred
- Applied EPIC experience
- CIC Designation
- Expertise in General Liability coverage
- Experience managing accounts in the construction industry
