Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join a flooring supply team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships understands the needs of contractors and designers and can confidently recommend the right products for any project. You will play a key part in expanding our client base and promoting our high-quality flooring materials.


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors builders designers and retail partners

  • Promote and sell our range of flooring products including hardwood laminate vinyl tile and accessories

  • Identify new business opportunities and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets

  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on project requirements

  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand needs and offer tailored solutions

  • Prepare quotes process orders and ensure accurate customer records

  • Collaborate with the operations and warehouse team to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction

  • Represent the company at trade shows networking events and industry functions



  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales (flooring construction materials or building products preferred)

  • Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to understand and explain product specs and installation requirements

  • Self-motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently

  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook etc.)




  • Required Skills:

    Responsibilities Present promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs Establish develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Reach out to customer leads through cold calling Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Analyze the territory/markets potential track sales and status reports Supply management with reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends Continuously improve through feedback Skills Proven work experience as a sales representative Excellent knowledge of MS Office Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales Excellent selling communication and negotiation skills Prioritizing time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday Commission pay


    Required Education:

    High school diploma relevant degree is a plus.
