| Join our dedicated team responsible for the diagnosis and availability of all BMW Otto engines. You will play a crucial role in evaluating and analyzing fault memory entries within the development fleet of the Otto Engine Control Unit (ECU). Your work will directly support the integration of diagnostic software into vehicle systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of onboard diagnostics certification processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data analytics vehicle software integration and diagnostic engineering within a global innovative environment. |
What should you bring along
| - Strong knowledge in diagnosis error handling and vehicle onboard architecture
- Experience with fault memory analysis and data handling in automotive development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and international team
- Good communication skills in English
|
Must have technical skill | - Proficient programming skills in Python
- Experience with BMW-specific tools such as CDH Brian MDR and ZEDIS
- Expertise in data analytics comparison and diagnostic software integration for Otto ECU
- Familiarity with database architecture and development (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL)
- Proficiency in MATLAB and JIRA for diagnostics and project management

Good to have Technical skills | - Basic front-end development skills (e.g. Angular Vue React)
- Experience with MS Excel for data analysis
- Deeper understanding of vehicle onboard architecture
- Knowledge of automation techniques for certification document creation
