The Opportunity:

UCF Advancement & Partnerships seeks applicants for an Associate Director Digital Philanthropy. The Associate Director plays a central role in driving UCFs digital fundraising strategies and elevating donor participation across all audiences. This position leads high-visibility initiatives including Day of Giving Homecoming Campaign and crowdfunding programs and serves as the subject matter expert for all Annual Giving digital platforms. The Associate Director also supports onboarding and training of new team members and collaborates broadly across the division to create engaging and effective donor experiences.

Classification Title: Associate Director Annual Giving

Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital marketing strategies for the Annual Giving team including text and email campaigns social media engagement and crowdfunding initiatives.

  • Lead for several initiatives within Day of Giving project scope.

  • Manage and maintain all online giving platforms and tools used by the Annual Giving team.

  • Design and execute digital marketing efforts for fiscal-year campaigns driving donor participation and engagement.

  • Partner with units internally and across campus to implement giving forms and coordinate successful campaigns.

  • Work closely with Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving leadership to support annual and long-term strategic planning that advances alumni engagement and philanthropy.

  • Support onboarding and training efforts for new annual giving team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree and 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading digital fundraising crowdfunding and/or other marketing campaigns in higher education nonprofit or fundraising setting.

  • Proficiency with digital engagement tools such as email marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud) giving platforms (e.g. GiveCampus) texting platforms CRM systems (e.g. Blackbaud CRM) and donor analytics tools.

  • Demonstrated success collaborating across teams and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.

  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale campaigns such as crowdfunding Giving Day or participation-driven initiatives.

  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience managing deadlines workflows and multiple campaigns at once.

  • Understanding of donor behavior and experience and digital engagement trends.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting data segmentation and campaign performance metrics.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

Advancement and Partnerships values the unique contributions that each team member brings to our division. The anticipated pay for a well-qualified candidate is $65000 - $73000. The final determination of a successful candidates starting salary will vary based on several factors including education and relevant experience. The anticipated pay scale indicated for this position generally applies to candidates who meet the minimum requirements and several of the preferred qualifications outlined above.
