Job Description

The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of Omnis employer-sponsored health & welfare retirement and leave of absence programs. The Benefits Analyst will provide support to Associates HR Partners and the benefits team under the direction of the Corporate Benefits Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance and completing audits of the companys benefit programs. The position is also responsible for providing accurate and timely data to support recommendations for management.

This position is based in Dallas TX at the Corporate Office.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as subject matter expert on health & welfare retirement and leave of absence eligibility plan provisions and policies.
  • Monitors and manages benefits ticketing system answering questions timely.
  • Investigates benefit issues and works with vendors to resolve.
  • Assists with new-hire orientations and open enrollment processes.
  • Partners with third-party benefits administrator to assist with benefit eligibility and enrollment processes.
  • Routinely conduct audits to ensure plans are administered appropriately.
  • Reviews vendor error reports and resolves discrepancies.
  • Provide reporting support to properties as required.
  • Assists with the coordination of wellness initiatives such as blood drives health fairs etc.
  • Responds to Medical Support Notices.
  • Collaborates with payroll to ensure proper payment and refunds for all benefits.
  • Serves as the primary contact for third-party leave administration and disability vendors.
  • Ensures accurate eligibility and enrollment of associates in the 401(k) Retirement plan.
  • Ensures 401(k) contributions are transmitted correctly to plan administrator.
  • Reconciles tracks and process monthly invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Works with Finance to resolve monthly billing discrepancies.
  • Assists with ongoing plan compliance.
  • Must be able to review and understand Collective Bargaining Agreements Summary Plan Descriptions & Plan Documents.
  • Analyze program usage and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Analyzes current processes and identifies process improvements where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in HR or related field preferred but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for education requirements.
  • Minimum of 5 years of benefits-related experience.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to benefits and retirement plans.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary customer service.
  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Must have the ability to handle sensitive situations and keep information confidential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a strong background in excel.
  • Experience working with UKG/UltiPro and DayForce.
