Description- Develop financial models quantifying the impacts of transition risks on the financial performance and valuation of companies and portfolios
- Deliver high-quality quantitative and qualitative analysis written documents PowerPoint presentations and other materials often to stretching deadlines for consulting projects.
- Design and deliver PowerBI dashboards as licensed products at the culmination of consulting engagements
- Synthesise and analyse large datasets efficiently and effectively using quantitative and business modelling tools.
- Effectively communicate the results and implications of our analysis to a range of external and internal audiences
- Support product development teams in designing building market testing and selling data products relating to climate risk
- Engage in the research and development of new products to further the offering such as the integration of physical and transition risk modelling

- An insightful independent analytical mind with a passion for climate change and energy transition issues
- Ability to communicate methods results and recommendations from complex qualitative and quantitative analysis to expert and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter ability to juggle multiple complex tasks at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Some awareness of climate-related financial risk and related regulation.
- Some understanding of the regulatory landscape and climate disclosure requirements (such as IFRS S2 linked requirements) across geographies
- Experience in and understanding of the finance industry including asset management banking and insurance is very desirable but not necessary.
- Professionalism enthusiasm for working as part of a team and ability to interact with a diverse group of people.

QualificationsExperience and skills
- Minimum 1 -6 years of experience
- Excellent academic track record ideally including Masters degree in a quantitative subject (Finance Economics) or part-completion of professional finance qualification (e.g. Professional Stage ACA or CFA level 1).
- Professional experience relating to energy or climate change policies would be a bonus.
- Experience working with government or private sector experience (consulting firm think tank financial institution utility etc.) would be a bonus.
- Strong Excel skills are essential for this role. Familiarity with other data analytical tools/languages particularly PowerBI & Python would also be highly advantageous.
