Our Grande Prairie Lumber Mill has an immediate opening for an Operational Team Leader. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave for approximately 18 months expected to continue until April 2027.
The successful individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient coordination/supervision of team members engaged in the daily operation of the Sawmill reporting directly to the Greenside Superintendent. This position is for a weekday rotating shift - Tuesday through Friday dayshift (2 weeks) and Monday through Thursday nightshift (2 weeks).
This will include supervision and development of team members by working on the safety and reliability culture through influencing values using solid people principles. The Operational Team Lead will also be responsible for continuous improvement of efficiency through improved workflow and by being a liaison between operations and support groups. There is an expectation this role will attend team meetings as needed during off hours during the week.
Requirements:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program and we are targeting a salary range of $88500 - $128500 based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Nonunion Canadian employees are automatically enrolled in our Defined Contribution Pension Plan which includes a paid company match up to 6% in addition to a company contribution equaling up to 7.25% of your base salary. Employees are also eligible to enroll in the Retirement Savings Plan (Group RRSP).
