GFL Environmental is looking for a dynamic and results-drivenAccount Executiveto join our team in Edmonton! If youre passionate about sales customer relationships and driving business growth this is the perfect opportunity for this role you will promote sell and expand our solid waste services to businesses and industrial establishments in your assigned territory.

What Youll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

  • Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to drive sales growth.

  • Conduct cold calls site visits and networking to generate leads.

  • Provide price quotes negotiate contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze customer waste stream needs and offer tailored solutions.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive market activities.

  • Represent GFL at business meetings industry events and civic functions.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience:Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales Experience:2-3 years in sales preferably within the solid waste industry.
Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport.
Technical & Analytical Abilities:Understanding of pricing margins and sales techniques.
Self-Motivation:Ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively.
Valid Drivers License:Travel within the assigned region is required.
