We are currently seeking experienced Switchboard Electricians and Trade Assistants to join multiple reputable employers across South-East Queensland. These roles offer immediate starts strong hourly rates and ongoing project pipelines.

Role: Switchboard Electricians & Trade Assistants (Assembly & Manufacturing)

You will be working within modern workshop environments supporting the build assembly wiring and testing of custom-designed electrical switchboards for commercial industrial and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Electricians / Switchboard Builders

• Assemble and wire electrical switchboards in accordance with single line diagrams schematics and manufacturer specifications

• Install and terminate electrical components including circuit breakers relays CTs meters control devices and PLC hardware

• Fit and mount switchgear busbar systems control wiring looms and cable management systems

• Conduct point-to-point testing continuity tests and ensure boards meet AS/NZS standards

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to identify design issues or variances

• Maintain high levels of quality assurance electrical safety and documentation

Trade Assistants Switchboard Assembly

• Assist in the assembly and build of electrical switchboards and control panels

• Mechanical assembly of enclosures mounting plates brackets panels and internal components

• Use hand and power tools to prepare cut and fit components for electricians

• Basic wiring and cable preparation under supervision (stripping glanding labelling routing)

• Support workshop production housekeeping and safe work practices

• Read simple drawings or follow detailed work instructions

Switchboard Electricians

• Qualified Electrician (Cert III Electrotechnology)

• Experience in switchboard building panel wiring industrial electrical work or control system wiring

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail

Trade Assistants

• Previous experience in electrical mechanical or manufacturing environments

• Confident using hand and power tools

• Ability to follow technical instructions

• Keen interest in electrical assembly or switchboard building
