About the role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering & Maintenance to lead our cotton operations and drive excellence in asset management reliability and safety. Reporting to senior leadership you will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to our engineering and technical teams. Youll shape the future of our ginning warehousing and supply chain assets by implementing cutting-edge maintenance strategies delivering capital projects and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This role involves extensive travelapproximately three days per weekto our regional sites across NSW QLD and WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management and renewal strategies to meet performance budget and safety targets.
- Lead engineering and maintenance teams across multiple sites fostering a culture of safety accountability and customer focus.
- Deliver capital projects on time and on budget ensuring zero harm.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analytics benchmarking and best-practice methodologies such as Six Sigma and LEAN.
- Champion diversity inclusion and sustainability initiatives aligned with LDCs values.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Chemical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Proven leadership in engineering within a manufacturing or process industry.
- Expertise in Reliability Centred Maintenance and change management principles.
- Strong track record in safety compliance and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing multi-site operations and delivering $1M projects.
- Professional memberships (e.g. Institute of Engineers) highly regarded.
