My Life My Choice a program of the Justice Resource Institute provides survivor-led solutions aimed at ending the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). My Life My Choice offers survivor mentoring intensive case management prevention education and group work to young people of all genders impacted by CSEC across Eastern Massachusetts. Throughout the U.S. My Life My Choice offers evidence-based prevention and intervention models for replication professional training consultation and advocacy.â
The Training Manager at My Life My Choice plays a key role in helping to achieve our mission of providing survivor-led solutions to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children. Through trainings and consultation ranging from introductory to advanced topics related to the sex trade and its devastating impact the Training Manager is responsible for managing the development delivery and oversight of My Life My Choices trainings consultation and technical assistance. This position reports to the Co-Director.
Schedule: This is a hybrid 40-hour per week position with the option to work from home two days per week.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $58000 to $65000per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
In This Role You Will:
- Manage all logistics (registrations invoices evaluations CEUs etc.) of all trainings webinars community engagement efforts and consultations ensuring they are efficient customer-centered and completed in timely manner.
- Lead coordination and technical support for all trainings including scheduling and prepping trainers tracking attendance ensuring administration of pre & post-tests and troubleshooting tech issues as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of a training and consultation strategy to increase the reach and impact of our trainings aimed at youth-serving professionals in Massachusetts and nationally.
- Create build and maintain external relationships that help expand our reach and impact in Massachusetts and across the country including programs that are participating in the My Life My Choice Prevention Solution Fellowship
- Collaboratively lead the strategic direction and management of the Training department ensuring all training materials and information reflect current trends research and best practices and incorporate survivor voice and leadership.
- Facilitate trainings and webinars as a member of the training team.
- Oversee the development of new trainings in response to needs in the field.
- Oversee Continuing Education Units (CEU) application process both locally and nationally as well as CEU approval process for trainees
- Work collaboratively with the Outcomes and Evaluation Manager on establishing monitoring and evaluating goals and metrics.
- Work with Communications and Marketing Manager on marketing trainings effectively.
- Support internal staff training and oversee calendar for My Life My Choice staff.
- Uphold My Life My Choice core values.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Bachelors degree or higher in social work public health or related field.
- 3 years experience in professional environment.
- 2 years experience working with trauma-impacted youth preferred and knowledgeable in CSEC and complex trauma.
- Enthusiasm for building and managing partnerships including negotiating and executing simple contracts and conveying the value and importance of My Life My Choice professional services.
- Experienced project manager with exceptional attention to detail while also holding the big picture and overall strategy.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
- Excellent technology skills including Office Suite Survey Monkey Zoom and Excel and excitement to learn adapt and lead the implementation of new technologies.
- Exceptionable ability to work as a team member; maintain flexible and positive attitude in team process.
- CSEC subject matter experts with lived experience are encouraged to apply.
- Maintain a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is required.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.â
