Mulgrave teachers inspire students to achieve their personal best through rich engaging learning experiences that nurture well-being curiosity and academic growth. All of our students follow theInternational Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) beginning in PK3 and personalized student-centred learning is at the heart of everything we do.


This is an exciting opportunity to work in afast-paced collaborative and innovative environment where low studentteacher ratios outstanding resources and a technology-rich campus create truly exceptional learning conditions. Through our co-teaching model every K2 classroom is staffed with both a Lead Teacher and an Associate Teacher allowing for meaningful differentiation and personalized instruction.


What Youll Do

You will work closely with Lead Teachers and Learner Support Coordinators to enhance student learning and well-being through:

  • Supporting the planning and implementation of engaging daily learning experiences
  • Actively differentiating and personalizing instruction
  • Providing academic social and emotional support for students
  • Contributing to assessment and evaluation of student progress
  • Helping students become self-regulated confident learners
  • Creating and maintaining an organized welcoming classroom environment
  • Supporting PYP implementation and ongoing development
  • Participating in collaborative planning staff meetings and professional learning
  • Assisting with Before and After-School Care (ASC) supervision
  • Supporting Specialist teachers school events assemblies and student-led conferences
  • Getting involved in the co-curricular programme for at least two terms
  • Occasionally TOC-ing in other classrooms including PK
  • Developing and reviewing a Teacher Professional Growth Plan (TPGP) with your coach


Who You Are

Candidates must:

  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Meet all BC teaching certification requirements
  • Hold a valid age-appropriate First Aid Certificate

Work Hours

  • 8:00 am 4:00 pm with occasional extensions on:
    • Club days (to 4:30 pm)
    • After-School Care days (to 5:00 pm)
  • Availability for new student assessments on one or two Saturdays per year is required

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this role is $60000 plus a retention bonus.
