Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Superintendent. This role requires extensive experience in commercial retail and QSR construction exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage projects in diverse locations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily construction activities ensuring all tasks are executed safely and following the project plan and quality standards
Coordinate construction schedules ensuring the timely completion of projects.
Lead and coordinate the efforts of subcontractors tradespeople and construction teams
Regularly inspecting ongoing work ensuring adherence to architectural and engineering specifications
Implement and monitor safety protocols ensuring a safe working environment for all on-site personnel
Act as the main point of contact on-site for clients updating them on project progress and addressing any concerns
Maintain accurate records of construction progress including daily reports equipment logs and personnel records
Quickly address and resolve on-site issues such as delays supply shortages or design changes minimizing disruption to the project timeline

Qualifications:

3 years experience as a construction superintendent or similar role in commercial construction
In-depth understanding of construction procedures materials and project management principles specifically for ground-up new commercial construction projects
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
OSHA 30-hour certification First Aid/CPR and other relevant certifications are highly preferred
Proficient in construction management software Microsoft Office Suite and blueprint reading
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary at $85000 - $95000 per year commensurate with experience
