The Service Cashier provides a high level of customer service and engagement while receiving payment for maintenance and repairs. The cashiers responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing the service bill for accuracy and cost
- Calculate customers invoice utilizing dealership software
- Ensure appropriate manufacturer of 3rd party warranties were applied if applicable
- Receive proper method of payment from customers and record appropriate amount received on applicable repair order
- Relay and customer customer concerns questions and/or needs to the service team
- Be the voice of the dealership to ensure complete customer satisfaction was delivered
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to work well with customers maintaining poise and professionalism at all time while exhibiting a friendly helpful attitude.
- Previous automotive service cashier experience a plus
- Previous experience with CDK software a plus
