AI Automation Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with expertise in Python LLM and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust Python applications designing and optimizing databases managing server infrastructure and implementing AI and machine learning models to drive innovation and efficiency within our Mobile Quality Lab organization.

Common Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data applications using Python

Design implement and optimize MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases.

Experience with AI and machine learning model (ex. TensorFlow PyTorch or any usage of LLM model for prompting)

Support designing and developing automation solution based on STP (Samsung Test Platform) automation framework based in Python

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.

Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.

Implement and maintain server (Ubuntu/Linux/Windows) configurations for optimal performance and reliability.

Analyze and develop automation tools based on internal and external requirements.

General android knowledge.

Manage the issues identified by working with other internal and external teams.

This role conducts basic technical analysis of customer requirements and creates evaluates and develops implementation concepts / approaches to meet customer requirements

Identify the required documentation and process for the project. Assist in creation of design requirements. Assist in analyzing test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. Collaborate with other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software products. Use field test engineering skills and knowledge to test and evaluate new Wireless Products including the verification of product performance of satellite indoor and sensor-based positioning in GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G network

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical including time sensitive deadlines intellectual challenge some language barriers and project management deadlines

Background/Experience Required:

4 years of software development experience required & Telecommunication protocol background required

BS in Computer Science Engineering Data Science Analytics or related field is required.

Previous experience in the Mobile automation test field is required

Some Field-testing experience for Telecommunication protocol

Experience dealing with cross-functional teams & customers

Necessary skills/Attributes:

Excellent Programming skills in Python required.

SQL Server Knowledge & Experience are required

GitHub Ubuntu/Linux experience are required.

Knowledge with automation framework (STP Robot framework Selenium etc.) is required

Previous experience in MS Visual Studio Android Studio and MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) required.

LLM Model knowledge is required.

Telecom Industry knowledge is desired.

Excellent communication skills required.

Motivated self-starter.

Proactive and dependable work style.

Capable of collaborating and coordinating with a geographically dispersed team.

Excellent multi-tasking skills.

Strong Knowledge of 3GPP GSMA IR.92 IR.94 standards IMS SIP SDP RTP RTCP protocols TCP/IP networking

Demonstrate strong Tool knowledge in QXDM QCAT QPST QMICM NNEXT SHANNON DM N-Trace Mobile Analyzer Artemis Debug Mux Spy Tracer Odin XCAL Mobile Datum PC Datum Wire shark

Life @ Samsung - @ Samsung - salary range for this role is expected to be between $126500 and $156000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and comparison to other employees in the role.
