Employee Benefits Department Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Department Manager to lead and oversee the Benefits Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits personnel management and a proven ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires occasional in-person office visits on a quarterly basis for team meetings.
Compensation Package
- Competitive salary range: $100000$115000 annually
- Exceptional candidates with outstanding qualifications may be considered for higher compensation
- Flexible start date with an immediate need
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Employee Benefits Department overseeing a team of 1015 direct reports
- Ensure the successful servicing of accounts with an average size of 2050 group lives
- Provide support for servicing needs as required
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and client satisfaction
- Maintain and improve processes within the department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to align goals and objectives
Qualifications/Requirements
- 57 years of experience in employee benefits with a focus on fully insured level-funded and self-funded plans
- Proven personnel management experience is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in EPIC software is required
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a strong plus
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining team cohesion and productivity
