Job Summary

Position Summary:

The School of Education Student Worker will support the Department Chair and the Data Collection and Support Coordinator with various operational aspects of the School of this role applicants will be responsible for assisting the Department Chair with administrative tasks such as recording meeting minutes development of presentations and maintaining the School of Education general inbox. Applicants will also be responsible for assisting the Data Collection and Support Coordinator with organizing and preparing data files to be uploaded to the School of Education Power BI addition to these two key focus areas applicants may be requested to assist with other operational initiatives such as general outreach to teacher candidates and P-12 Partners assistance with the development of resources for School of Education professional development sessions partnership functions and other events coordinated by the School of Education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Department Chair with administrative tasks that support the mission of the School of Education

Assist the Data Collection and Support Coordinator with organizing and preparing data files

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED credentials

Experience working with and proficient knowledge of the following Microsoft Products: Outlook Excel Word Teams Forms

Preferred Skills and Characteristics:

Thorough attention to detail and organization

Effective communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

Ability to follow pre-determined operational processes

Additional Notes:

Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidates availability and the workload of the department. The ideal candidate will be able to work 19 hours per week from the downtown campus of Franklin University Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
